Strategic Review of Physical Regeneration
BBP was appointed to carry out a Strategic Review of Physical Regeneration on behalf of Interserve plc, in order to assess the market expansion opportunities within regeneration for a multi-national services, maintenance and building group. The project involved providing an overview of the factors driving physical regeneration and a guide to the institutional and policy framework from an international to local level. The project then required an analysis of the core business opportunity areas for Interserve within regeneration; highlighting target areas, key players, potential competitors, commissioning bodies and primary policy within the established growth areas. The project also included a review of the Top 30 Most Active UK Companies in Redeveloping Deprived Areas as an annex to the main report; detailing information regarding their investment commitments, top values of their schemes and examples of some of their major projects. The completed report provides a reference point for issues within regeneration as well as a guide to business opportunities and potential growth in the sector that will inform Interserve’s future business strategy.
