Sittingbourne Town Centre
Following the completion of a Sites Acquisition Study on behalf of Swale Forward, BBP was retained to assist with the Programming and Implementation of projects contributing to the regeneration of Sittingbourne town centre. This involved ongoing liaison with key personnel within Swale Borough Council, Swale Forward, Kent Council and SEEDA, to produce a realistic programme for Sittingbourne town centre’s regeneration. The work culminated in the preparation of a Business Plan to demonstrate the linkages between the projects and a proposed funding strategy. The Business Plan was used to support an application for further funding from the ODPM Sustainable Communities Fund.
