Margate Action Plan
Following the production of the Action Plan for central Margate on behalf of the Margate Futures Partnership, BBP was appointed by SEEDA to work up, in more detail, several of the physical development projects from the Margate Action Plan for which SEEDA had been allocated as the lead delivery role. This involved further consultations with key landowners, a review of planning issues and the appraisal of a variety of potential redevelopment schemes. The combination of relatively low property values and heterogeneity of land ownership required an innovative approach to the design and delivery of possible schemes.
