Business Plan for the Regeneration of Queenborough and Rusheden
 
BBP was appointed to lead and coordinate the preparation of a Business Plan for the Regeneration of Queenborough and Rusheden in the Borough of Swale. SEEDA had already initiated land assembly work in the area and Rummey Design Associates had been commissioned to produce a masterplan. BBP’s role was to pull the emerging work together into a comprehensive business plan that could be used to support further applications for funding required to deliver the project. The work involved:

• Identification of key projects ‘hard’ and ‘soft’
• Assessment of funding requirements/ sources
• Appropriate delivery structures enabling value capture and recycling of investment

The Business Plan was used to support a funding bid to ODPM’s Community Plan and as a tool to enable key stakeholders to agree a strategy and to allocate funding.
