London Array
BBP was commissioned to undertake an appraisal of a support facility at Ramsgate Port for London Array, the world's largest offshore wind farm, which will be situated in the Thames Estuary. Current and future uses for the Port and the infrastructure necessary to support the maintenance and operation activities of London Array were considered, together with State Aid issues, and wider community regeneration benefits. With the help of industry analysts Douglas Westwood, the long-term opportunities to develop the South East's role in renewable energy R&D and manufacturing were considered.
